MBC's Sail Fleet is made up of MBC members who enjoy sailing, whether it be racing, cruising, day-sailing, or just talking about sailing. The Sail Fleet organizes the club's, midweek race series held on Tuesday nights from mid-May through September, and three weekend races - the Race for the Sisters, Ladies Race and the Solo Challenge. All races are open to MBC members, the general public and other clubs. The Sail Fleet also sponsors a "Sail to the Harbor Light" on Holiday weekends during the season, followed by a potluck dinner.

​The Sail Fleet administers the Junior Sailing Scholarship program which provides funding to 8 to 16 year old relatives of MBC members at the NCYC Sail Camp. Funding for the scholarships is provided by many of the MBC organizations and individuals.

​The Sail Fleet also operates breakfasts on the Saturday and Sunday of the MBC Regatta

The Sail Fleet and the Power Fleet organizes several club cruises open to all MBC boaters. The club cruises are listed under the Club Event tab. If you wish to attend a club cruise, please check the club bulletin board for sign up sheets about a month prior to the cruise. The details for the cruises will also be communicated via email to MBC members.
